RED is seeking a Sales Consultant who will be responsible for proactive new business generation, account management of existing clients, and candidate delivery to a portfolio of roles. A key part of the role will be developing your qualification skills and being fully committed to understanding the needs of your clients is essential to succeed in this highly competitive market.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and gain a full understanding of client hiring requirement
  • Develop and build long term strategic client and candidate relationships, through both telephone contact and face-to-face meetings
  • In partnership with the Resourcing team, identify and qualify suitable candidates prior to submission
  • Qualify and follow up business leads generated by the company
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and KPI targets
  • Identify opportunities for other Red business units within your client base

Individual Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, either in recruitment or another proactive sales industry
  • Experience of market mapping, cold calling, pitching, objection handling, account management, negotiation and closing sales
  • Proven planning, analysis and research skills
  • Ability to build rapport and develop relationships with diverse stakeholders, including hiring managers, C-level executives and HR
  • Motivated self-starter with good attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluent in English
