SAP SD / MM / PP Consultant (m/f)

Your responsibilities

  • Active participation during the "Request for Proposal" phase: understanding client context, developing and presenting project approach
  • Analysis and review of Logistics, Procurement, Inventory and or Production Planning related business processes to fully understand the client's requirements
  • Identification of gaps between requirements and SAP SD / MM / PP functionality
  • Development of target processes to be implemented, design and implementation of state-of-the-art, client specific solutions in SAP SD / MM / PP, including the configuration and/or customization of the system as well as related interfaces
  • Advising on Logistics, Procurement, Inventory and Production Planning related topics
  • Development of target process documentation and of testing and training documents, execution of tests, delivery of key - user and end - user training sessions, provision of post go live support
  • Acting as a sparring partner for the client
  • Management of a project workstream and team as part of a complex project
  • Identification of sell-on / new business opportunities
  • Active participation in knowledge management activities as part of the European community of practice

  • Your qualifications
  • Higher education degree in Economics, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Solid process know-how and a proven track record in one or more of the following areas: Sales and Distribution, Transportation, Material Management, Procurement, Production Planning etc.
  • At least 3-5 Full Project Lifecycles of work experience in an international consulting company or as an in-house Consultant with hands-on SAP SD/ MM / PP
  • Process integration experience
  • Proven ability to deliver to tight timescales,
  • success in team working and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel often, particularly in Europe, and an excellent command of both English and the local language
